Sesame Noodles

Sesame Noodles Ingredients

  • 6 T tahini (sesame paste)
  • 3 T sesame oil
  • 3 T tamari
  • 2 T sesame chili oil
  • 2 T unseasoned rice vinnegar
  • 3 T fresh coriander, chopped
  • 4 T water
  • 2 T sesame seeds, toasted
  • 300g  spaghetti, spaghettini, angel hair pasta

Sesame Noodles Cooking Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except the sesame seeds in a medium bowl an mix together well.
  2. Add enough water so that the mixture falls from the spoon in ribbons.
  3. Bring 4 litres of water to a boil.
  4. Dunk the noodles into the boiling water and cook for about 3 minutes. Drain well.
  5. Stir the sauce and add to the noodles.
  6. Toss well to coat.
  7. Serve with toasted sesame seeds on top.

Make sure you toast the sesame seeds in a heavy ungreased skillet over medium heat. This recipe takes about 15 minutes to cook and serves about 4. Serve with a salad to round out the meal. There you have it, delicious hot or cold Sesame Noodles.
